We will see ANY animal in addition to the species listed on the left that can be transported to our clinic. We recommend you make an appointment first.

VACCINATION RECOMMENDATIONS

Brewer Veterinary Clinic adheres to the following vaccination schedule:

Rabies Vaccination
    
Dogs: given at 8 weeks of age or older, repeated in 1 year and then given every 3 years
     Cats: given at 8 weeks of age, repeated in 1 year and then given every year thereafter

Distemper Combination Vaccination:
    
Dogs: 8th week, 12th week, and 16th week of age, boostered 1 year later, then every 3 years
     Cats: 8th week, 12th week, and 16th week of age, then once yearly

Lyme Vaccination - Dogs Only
     Initially 2 vaccinations (spaced 2-4 weeks apart), then once a year thereafter

Bordetella (Kennel Cough) - Dogs Only
     Initially 2 vaccinations (spaced 2-4 weeks apart), then once a year thereafter

Feline Leukemia Vaccination - Cats Only
     Initially 2 vaccinations (spaced 3-4 weeks apart), then once a year thereafter

EMERGENCY SERVICES

Brewer Veterinary Clinic will see you any time an emergency arises during our hours. Should the need arise after regular business hours, please call our hospital number which will be forwarded directly to the Eastern Maine Emergency Veterinary Clinic who will be ready to assist you with your emergency situation.

FEES
Payment for all services is expected at the time of service. We accept cash, checks, Visa and Mastercard. For your convenience, we also offer Care Credit, which permits you to pay over time. Please ask our receptionist for more information or an application for this type of payment option.
